Hi @Pam. Many of my recent fungi sightings are at the Australian National Botanic Gardens. I believe a requirement for visitors to the ANBG is to not remove any material from the Gardens (the exception being with prior ANBG approval). I don't have ANBG permission to collect the fungi I find there (or anything else). However, I note your comments and if I come across boletes elsewhere, I'll collect a sample and try to provide the additional information. Tim

Most Boletes are mycorrhizal so it can be useful if you note the tree/plant species that are possibly associated with it. It would then be interesting to see if there's a correlation between particular species (even if we only have images and don't have a definite id for the fungus) and particular tree/plant species.
